Mayor Don Hammond grew up in the village and has spent most of his life living in Nyack. He’s a proud product of the Nyack School system, as both a former student and member of its Board of Education for seven years.

Don brings over 30 years in senior management of international and local non profits. He is past President/CEO of Meals on Wheels of Rockland County. Previously, he served as President/CEO of the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region and and COO of Rockland County YMCA.
