The end of Summer is upon us and back to school is around the corner. All Nyack Public Schools open on Wednesday, 9/4. Back to School shopping has already begun, registration for Youth Recreation programs is starting, and we are thinking about weekend activities. The first two weekend in September will be busy with the Septemberfest Street Fair on Sunday, 9/8 and The Great Nyack Get Together on Saturday, 9/14. Back to school shopping gives us all the opportunity to support our local merchants, shop for back to school supplies in downtown Nyack. A special tip for all incoming Kindergarten families, Koblins Pharmacy is the only place that has the required nap mats.
