It’s that time of year when things are happening outside and about Nyack - Art Walk, The African American Day Parade, Music on the Hudson, the Classic Car Night, fireworks and outdoor movies in the Memorial Park. We kick off the summer season, Friday June 14th with ArtWalk which runs through Sunday, June 16th. It is a great way to see the works of local artist’s and take a stroll through the village. On Saturday, the African American Parade steps off at noon in Memorial Park. The grand marshals are Nyack’s own Superbowl Champions New England Patriots “McCourty Twins” Jason and Devin. After the Parade, enjoy a festival with music, a bounce house, face painting and more. Music on the Hudson starts on June 25th and runs every Tuesday through July 30th. The annual Fourth of July fireworks will be Friday, July 5th in Memorial Park at 9pm. Classic Car Night is July 11th starting at 5pm. Stroll along the Main Street and see antique and classic vehicles. Rain date is July 12th. All of these great things are brought to you by the Nyack Park Conservancy, Paulette Ross, Recreation Department, Montefiore Nyack Hospital and the Chamber of Commerce.
