There is currently a vacant seat on the Village of Nyack, Board of Water Commissioners.  Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 4:30 PM.  Board members must be residents of the areas served by the Village of Nyack Water Department (Nyack, South Nyack, Central Nyack and West Nyack).  

 Candidates for Commissioner:

1. Must be familiar with Cash Flow Statements, Revenue and Expense reports and other financial statements.
2. Be familiar with water systems and operations.
3. Have the ability to make financial decisions that reflect good judgment for the consumers and the operational needs of the Water Department.
4. Be available for meetings other than those regularly scheduled.
5. Understand Village and Water Department policies and procedures.
