Mayor Don Hammond and the Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that the Village of Nyack will launch a new and improved website today, Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

The new website, can still be found at www.nyack-ny.gov.  It was designed with a few goals in mind: a clean and simple appearance, ease of navigation and functionality. These changes were driven by the needs of the end users – residents, businesses, and visitors. Some of the changes include a calendar with meetings and agendas that is easily found along the top tabs, there are “frequently asked questions” and an “I want to” tab. There is information available on capital projects and a portal for bids and requests for proposals.  All Departments have a dedicated page easily accessible from the home page with pertinent information, including staff directories.

The website also features a Citizen Portal that will allow people to report concerns such as potholes, street light outages, etc. This will allow residents to track the work from start to finish via email notifications. Enhancements were made to allow for better navigation via mobile devices. More than half of all users access the site from their cell phones or tablets.  The new site features improvements to ADA compliance, language access and general usability.

The Village is making every effort to enhance our communications ability and our new website demonstrates this commitment.

We welcome any suggestions you may have and feel free to contact us using the links at the bottom of the homepage.
