Reopening our Village

Everyone is excited for the opportunity to visit our restaurants and shops In Nyack 😊 Please remember we are still in a Pandemic and that public health guidelines need to be followed!

We strongly urge all those who visit the downtown area and Memorial Park to wear a mask, practice social distancing & good hand washing. If you are sick - please stay home! We need to unite as one community to continue our fight against Coronavirus as we begin to reopen our Village. Thank you - enjoy your time in Nyack and let's stay safe together!! #NyackStrong ☮️

Parking in Nyack

Parking fees were suspended for all parking in the Village of Nyack at the start of the lock down in March.  Parking permits are now required for the Catherine Street Lot and Spear Street Lot.

There is no overnight parking on:

  • Main Street (Midland Ave to Broadway)
  • Broadway (Cedar Hill to High Ave)
  • Franklin Street (Depew Ave to High Ave).

On street parking and the municipal lots on Main Street are still available at no fee and the Artopee Lot is available for overnight parking. Stay in touch to follow updates on parking as we begin to phase back our parking regulations. Contact the Parking Authority at 845-358-3851 or by email parking@nyack-ny.gov

Village Hall Reopening

All departments are available by email and phone. Staff Directory  Village Hall will reopen in the coming weeks with limited hours. More details will be available shortly.

There are critical upgrades to our Village Hall that need to be completed for compliance with NYS Office Re-opening guidelines,  in addition to other infrastructure reorganization to meet all safety requirements.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
