Nyack would like to extend a warm Father's Day to all the families in our Village. The past few months have been unprecedented, with many families confined to their homes, or only leaving briefly to work essential jobs. This has been a time where many have grown closer with their families.

In this moment of uncertainty, we recognize the importance of celebrating all fathers, including those who may no longer be with us. I'd also like to recognize the contributions of all fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers, and male role-models who strive to create a safer and more equitable society. I understand the challenges that come with being a father, as I have children of my own whom I deeply cherish.

I hope all fathers in our Nyack Community take a moment to enjoy the company and good fortune of their beloved families, as I know I will. Here's to many cookouts, BBQs, and any other socially-distanced celebrations happening this weekend!
