The Village Board of Trustees is asking all residents and visitors to please practice social distancing and mask wearing while in Nyack. Village of Nyack Road Paving Schedule

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

The Village of Nyack will be repaving the following roads starting on or about August 30, 2021.

Upper Depew Ave, Dickinson Ave, Jewett Place, Bache St.

NO PARKING on streets during construction operations. Residents and motorists are advised of intermittent traffic disruptions. Motorists should expect sporadic road closures. Access to driveways may be temporarily unavailable. Expect rough road conditions during preparation work. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. 10 Years of Road Paving in Nyack: Check out our road paving efforts over the past nine years, and scheduled improvements for 2021. We are coordinating with utility companies to complete infrastructure work before road paving occurs. Efforts to secure grants for paving and capital improvements are high priorities for village administration.


School Supply Drive at Village Hall

Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick and Assemblyman Mike Lawler are hosting school supply drives and there are collection boxes in the lobby of Nyack Village Hall. Please, if you are able, donations of school supplies are greatly needed for local distribution. Thank you!



Board of Water Commissioners Vacancy

There is currently a vacant seat on the Village of Nyack, Board of Water Commissioners. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 4:30pm. Board members must be residents of the Village of Nyack.

Candidates for Commissioner:

  1. Must be familiar with Cash Flow Statements, Revenue and Expense reports and other financial statements.
  2. Have the ability to make financial decisions that reflect good judgement for the Village residents and the operational needs of the Water Department.
  3. Be available for meetings other than those regularly scheduled.
  4. Understand Village and Water Department policies and procedures.

If interested in serving an unexpired term (through 12/31/23), please forward a letter of intent and a resume to Barbara Kunar, Village of Nyack Water Department, 9 N.
