August 21, 2021 - Storm Watch

Tropical Storm Henri is consolidating and has shifted with the center of the storm expect to make landfall over Eastern Long Island early Sunday, when it does it will be upgraded to a Category 1 hurricane. Depending on the storm track, expect winds of 30 to 40 mph and 2 to 4 inches of rain starting Saturday evening though Monday morning. Tree damage causing power outages is to be expected. Please see information below from O&R on preparing for the storm and what to do if you lose power. Nyack DPW is on standby and will respond to emergencies. Please follow any road closures.

Village Parking lots on Main Street are available for overnight parking and for the duration of the storm.
