"Safe Routes to the Nyack Middle School"
Sidewalk Project Community Meeting

A community information meeting will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 6:30pm, at the Nyack Senior Center, 90 Depew Ave, Nyack, New York. The design engineers will be on hand to discuss the project and its impact on the Depew Avenue neighborhood between Franklin Ave across Route 9w to the western border with Clarkstown.

Property owners please note the widening of the sidewalks on Depew to make them safer and ADA compliant will impact your properties in various ways, including village acquisition of narrow strips of private property in some cases, and in other cases, impacts to features (such as fences or shrubbery) residents may have installed on the village right of ways. The Village looks forward to explaining these impacts in detail and working with property owners to achieve a successful improvement to this vital public infrastructure, especially for children walking to school.
